MY GRAN'S NAME IS ELIZABETH TODD SHE WAS BORN 1ST FEBRUARY 1913 & SHE DIED 22ND DECEMBER 1986
THEY GOT MARRIED 31ST DECEMBER 1929, THEY WENT ON & HAD 12 CHILDREN, 53 GRANCHILDRENS & SO MANY GREAT GRANCHILDREN
THEY WERE BELOVED MUM, DAD, GRAN,GRANDA,GREAT GRAN,GREAT GRANDA BROTHER, SISTER, UNCLE, AUNTIE, BROTHER IN LAW & SISTER IN LAW
I GOT TOLD HE WAS ALWAYS FUNNY, VERY STRICT, KIND HUMOUR, LOVING,
MY GRAN WAS FUNNY, I ALWAYS STAYED WITH HER SHE WAS KIND ALWAYS BUYING SWEETS FROM THE ICE CREAM VAN LOVED HER ICE CREAM NOUGETS,
MARS BARS & FLAKES,
THEY WERE A LOVING COUPLE UPTO WHEN MY GRANDA DIED & MY GRAN DIDNT MARRY AFTER MY GRANDA DIED
WE ALL MISS THEM VERY MUCH

We're wondering what Christmas in Heaven is like
As we grieve alone and pray,
longing for one who has gone before
To spend Christmas in Heaven today..
And so in our dreams we wander far
From the scenes and sounds of earth
‘Til we catch the strains of the Heavenly choir
As they sing of the Christ Child's birth. .
The Angels we envision there
As they join in the festive play
And there amid the throng is our Loved One
Spending Christmas in Heaven today..
There's joy in the faith that teaches
When our life's work is done
Of a place in Heaven awaiting
And the crown we worked for is won..
In our grief may we learn well the lesson
So to work and suffer and pray
As to merit the joys of our loved one
And to spend Christmas together some day.

Dear God,
Please love my Angels that dwell with you above,
Please hug them for me tightly with your precious, tender love,
Dear God,
Please sing them lullabys as they lay down to sleep,
Please comfort them and just be there if they should ever weep.
Please let them know I love them all and wish I understood
The reason they're in Heaven, please tell them to be good.
Are fluffy clouds their pillows, to lay their heads at night?
And do the stars just twinkle to give them little light?
Will you watch them all so carefully and always hold their hand?
And answer all the questions that a child can't understand?
Do you tell them all about me, do they know just who I am?
Are they with my caring family, my grandpa and grandma
God,
do you ever pick them up and sit them on your knee?
And rock them oh so gently if they ever cry for me?
God,
do they play with children's toys in Heaven up above?
And have they met your precious son that died for us in love?
I have so many questions Lord, I want to understand
Just why my little Angels are up there, was their life planned?
I dwell down here and feel like we're a thousand miles apart,
Please help me God, please hear my plea,
Just mend this broken heart!

I know we are all feeling a little bit sad,
That we've lost our Grandpa, our friend and our dad
Together we have cried an ocean of tears
As we feel so empty and hold many fears
But Grandpa would want us to know he's in a good place
And that he watching us all with a smile on his face
As we have made him so proud, as proud as can be
That he has raised such a beautiful and special family
Thinking back now I really must say
I feel lucky and privileged to have known Grandpa to this day
For in my life, you have played a special part
The memories I will treasure and keep close to your heart
For me I am glad my little baby he got to meet
And for all of us, be grateful, his life is now complete
To each one of us he has loved and cared
And a family, be thankful for the good times we shared
Although he has gone we will always be together
And his spirit will live on each one of us forever
When you look to the sky, look for the brightest star
As that will be Grandpa looking down on us from afar
And now I would like to thank the good Lord above
For blessing us with our Grandpa with his kindness and love
Dear God, if it is not too much fuss
Take extra special care of our Grandpa as he is very dear to us
Grandpa if you are listening say a prayer for us every day
Be sure to protect us and guide us on our way
We know when God called you, you had to go
But we want you to know Grandpa we miss you and love you so
